Qualification : Diploma in Civil Engineering with 2 years Laboratory Experience in Civil Engineering related laboratories in a reputed Academic Institution / Research Laboratory, preferably of Central / State Government/PSU.

Essential Qualification :
PhD degree from a reputed university in plant breeding and/or genetics, with a minimum five years of post-doctoral experience as germplasm specialist/ plant breeder/geneticist in a research institute/university/ reputed private sector company. Knowledge of quantitative genetics theory and its application in practical plant breeding of self-pollinated crops, diversity assessment, agricultural statistics, and good computer skills are essential. Theoretical knowledge of marker diversity, marker-aided selection in crop improvement will be an additional desirable requirement. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential. Ability to work as a member of interdisciplinary teams, including multicultural and multinational scientists, is important.
