Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers

Age Limit : 19 to 24 years (i.e. born between 02 Jul 1987 to 01 Jul 1992, (both dates inclusive).

Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400 and MSP Rs.6000.

Educational Qualifications :
(a) A Science Graduate with Physics & Mathematics with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university (b) BE/B.Tech. with min. 60% marks in aggregate in any discipline (c) Science Graduate (Physics & Mathematics) from a recognized university holding NCC Naval Wing , Senior Div. 'C' Certificate (d) Graduate/Post Graduate in Operations Analysis and Operational Research/ Quantitative methods with minimum 75% marks. (e) Graduate/ Post Graduate in Mathematics with Probability or Statistics with minimum 75% marks.

Physical Standards :
The candidates must be physically fit according to following physical standards:-
(a) Height and Weight. Minimum height - 157cms for men and 152 cms for women with correlated weight.
(b) Eye Sight. (i) Technical Branch. 6/24, 6/24 correctable to 6/6 in each eye with glasses. (ii) General Service (Executive). 6/12, 6/12 correctable to 6/6 in each eye with glasses (iii) Logistic Cadre (Executive). 6/60, 6/60 correctable to 6/6, 6/12 with glasses. The candidate should not be colour / night blind.
