Satyawati College, University of Delhi invites application for the following posts:

Assistant Professor / Lecturer
Posts-33, ( English-5) (Hindi-5) (Pol.Science-4) (Economics-4) (History-2) (Mathematics-3) (Sanskrit-1) (Urdu-1) (Commerce-8)
Pay Band: Rs. 15,600-39,100 with AGP Rs. 6,000/- plus admissible allowances as admissible under rules of University of Delhi from time to time.
Essential Qualification:
(i) Good academic record with at least 55% (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST or those who passed their Master’s Degree prior to 19.09.1991 and hold a Ph.D. Degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E and F at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University.
(ii) Candidates should have qualified the National Eligibility Test or a similar test accerdited by the UGC.

Applicatons in the prescribed format may reach the Principal, Satyawati College (Day), Ashok Vihar, Phase-III, Delhi-110052 on or before 21 days from the date of publication of this advertisement complete in all respect with self attested copies of certificates, mark sheets, testimonials, etc. Application format may be obtained from the office of the college on all working days from 10.00 A.M. to 4.00 P.M. on or before the last date of submission either in person or by sending a self addressed and stamped envelope of 6×10 size.

Notes:
1. A relaxation of the minimum marks at the post-graduate level from 55% to 50% may be provided o the candidates who have cleared the JRF examination conduted by UGC/CSIR only, prior to 1989, when the minimum marks required to appear for JRF examinaion were 50%.
2. NET/SLET should remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Lecturer/Asstt. Professor; provided however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in complaince of the University Grants Commission, regulation, 2009shall be excempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET.
3. The qulifications and other service conditions shall be such as prescribed by the University of Delhi/UGC from time to time.
4. The candidates already in service must apply from proper channel.
5. The college reserved the right not to fill up any or all the post(s) advertised.
6. A seperate application is to be submitted for each post.
7. The candidates applying under Pwd Category are required to submit the Disability Certificate in the format prescribed by the GOI.
8. A relaxation of 5% marks (from 55% to 50%) at Master’s Level to the persons with Disability (Pwd) shall be granted for the post of Lecturer/Asstt. Professor in terms of Executive Counsil Resolution No. 37(2) dated 1.5.2003.
