Krishna Grameena Bank (sponsored by state bank of india) invites applications from indian citizens domicile of karnataka for appointment for the posts of:

Clerk cum Cashier cum Computer Operator recruitment

Pay Scale:
Rs. 4410-13210

Age limit: Minimum 18 years & Maximum 26 years for Clerical Cadre. Candidates born between 30.07.1984 & 30.07.1992 both days inclusive are only eligible to apply.

Qualification required:
A degree from any recognized university in any discipline or its equivalent. OR A pass in Higher Secondary School examination of 10+2 or 10+2+3 pattern/11th standard of 11+3 pattern/Pre-degree or intermediate or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST/PC) marks in the aggregate. OR Diploma in Banking recognized by State or Central Government or Union Territory. OR Pass with minimum 60% mark(55% marks for SC/ST/PC/XC) in aggregate in Matriculation/Senior school certificate (Old pattern) or equalent. AND Proficiency in local language (Kannada) is essential. Knowledge of English is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with Computer knowledge

Eligibility:
A candidate must be either
(i) a citizen of India, OR
(ii) a subject of Nepal, OR
(iii) subject of Bhutan, OR
(iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, OR
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv).& (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/ interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificates has been issued to him/her by the Government of India. The candidate should be a domicile of Karnataka.

Selection Process:
The selection of the candidates shall be made on the basis of written test and interview. All the eligible candidates who apply with the requisite fee and whose applications are received in time will be called for a written test, which will be objective type comprising.

How To Apply:
Application should be in A-4 size paper (11.69” x 8.27”) and should be strictly as per the format and contains no correction / alteration/ over writings. Certified copies of the following shall be enclosed to the application –
(i) Caste/ tribe/ community/ disability/ defence service certificate in case candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC/EXS.
(ii) Class X certificate/ mark list containing date of birth.
(iii) Xerox copies of educational qualifications certificate.
Applications complete in all respects should be sent only by Ordinary Post to Post Box No. 7478, Jogeshwari (East) Mumbai-400060. A recent passport size photograph should be firmly pasted on the application and should be signed across, by the candidate. Three copies of the same photograph should be retained for use at the time of written examination and interview. Candidates are advised not to change their appearance till the recruitment process is completed. Failure to produce the same photograph at the time of written test and interview may load to disqualification. Each application must be accompanied by – Copies of under mentioned certificates.
(a) Secondary School certificate/School leaving certificates or any other document proof of age.
(b) Marks sheet (year wise) showing specifically the subjects studied and certificate/s in support of educational qualification viz. SSLC/HSC/Graduate degree; post graduation degree, professional/research qualification etc.
(c) A candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PC category should attach a certified copy.
(d) SC/ST/OBC/PC certificate issued by Competent Authority in the prescribed format as prescribed by Government of India. in case of OBCs, the certificate inter alia must specify that the candidates should not belong to Creamy layer section excluded from the benefits of reservation for other backward class in civil post and services of Government of India. OBC certificate should not be more than one year old as on the date of application.
(e) An ex serviceman candidate has to enclose a copy of the discharged certificate, retirement/pension order and document proof of rank (substantive as well as action) last/presently held. Those who are still in defense service should submit a certificate from Competent Authority that they will be relived from defense service, in time, to enable the candidate to report for duty in the event of selection to work for the Bank.
(f) Bank Demand Draft/ Bank pay order payable at Gulbarga.
