Qualification : Ph.D. with 60% marks or equivalent in post graduation/graduation in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. An outstanding professional, working in industry with established reputation and having made significant contribution to knowledge but not having a Ph.D. degree, could also be considered in exceptional case.
Pay Scales:
Professor - PB-4(37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 10500/-PM) Minimum pay in the Pay band-Rs. 48,000 Plus AGP
Associate Professor - PB-4(37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 9500/-PM) Minimum pay in the Pay band-Rs. 42,800 Plus AGP
Assistant Professor - PB-3(15600-39100 with AGP of Rs. 8000/-PM) Minimum pay in the Pay band-Rs. 30,000 Plus AGP
