The Indian Institute of Public Administration invites application for the recruitment of following faculty posts 2010.
Associate Professor : in Applied Social Sciences (Specialization in either Sociology and Administration, or Socio-Political Development, or Socio Economic Development, or Governance and Development)
No of Posts : 01
Qualification : Persons with Academic degree in either Sociology, Political Science, Public Administration, Economics or Development Studies and other qualifications as per University Grants Commission’s (UGC) norms. OR Officers with atleast 7 years experience of All India Service/Central Service/State Service at Group A level, may apply. Persons who have applied earlier for post of Associate Professor Sociology are requested to update their applications for consideration.
Scale of pay: As per the UGC norms
Age limit: Below 45 years.
Assistant Professor : One each in the area of
(i) Rural Development
(ii) Development Studies
(iii) Governance (Ethics in Government)
(iv) International Relations and International Administration
No of Posts : 4 Posts
Qualification : Persons with degrees in any of the Social Sciences (expect for Assistant Professor in International Relations & International Administration where degrees should be in the concerned subject) and other qualifications as per the University Grants Commission’s (UGC) norms with atleast 3 years experience of working as Assistant Professor and who have interest in doing interdisciplinary work. OR Officers with atleast 3 years experience of working in All India Service/Central Service/State Service at Group A level, may apply.
Scale of pay: As per the UGC norms
Age limit: Below 40 years.
Assistant Professor : (Consumer Studies) on Contract basis upto July 2012 which may be extendable under the Centre for Consumer Affairs at IIPA.
No of Posts : 01
Qualification : Persons with Master’s Degrees in Law/ Management / Social Sciences/ Social Work and other qualifications as per the University Grants Commission’s (UGC) norms.
Scale of pay: As per the UGC norms
Age limit: Below 40 years.
