Kolkata Port Trust intends to recruit Trainee Pilots at Kolkata Dock System for which candidates in possession of any of the following Certificates of Competency issued by the Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India and willing to join immediately are eligible.
a. Master(FG)
b. 1st Mates(FG)
c. 2nd Mates(FG)
d. B.Sc. Nautical Science
e. Dredge Master-Grade-I
f. Dredge Master-Grade-II
g. Dredge Mate- Grade-I
Number of vacancies : 14
Scale of Pay : Rs. 29100-54500/-
Age : Not exceeding 45 years as on 1.1.2011(relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates).
Mode of application : Application, duly signed by the candidate with detailed bio-data containing name, father’s name, date of birth, permanent address, mobile and residential telephone numbers, address for communication, nationality, whether belonging to SC/ST/OBC/minority community, religion, educational and professional qualification, experience and anyother relevant information with two recent passport size photographs should be submitted in sealed envelope superscribed “Walk-in-interview for the post of Trainee Pilots” to the Director, Marine Department, Kolkata Port Trust, 15 Strand Road, Kolkata – 700 001 on or before 27.1.2011.
