NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF EPIDEMIOLOGY (ICMR)
National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE) proposes to fill up the following posts on purely temporary basis under the NACO project at NIE, Chennai :
WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
Scientist-C (Project Coordinator) : 01 post
Qualification : a) MBBS degree recognized by MCI (or) 1st class Master’s degree in Science related subjects from a recognized university
b) Four years R&D experience in related subject after obtaining essential educational qualification.
Age limit : Not exceeding 40 years. Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per GOI rules.
Salary : Consolidated salary of Rs.34,020 + HRA p.m. for non-medical & Rs.44,179 + NPA+HRA p.m. for medical persons.
Scientist-B (Research Officer) : 02 Posts
Qualification : a) MBBS degree recognized by MCI (or) 1st class Master’s degree in Science related subjects from a recognized university
Age limit : Not exceeding 35 years. Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per GOI rules
Salary : Consolidated salary of Rs.28,350 +HRA p.m. for non-medical & Rs.37,024 + NPA+HRA p.m. for medical persons
Technical Officer - A (Programmer/Data Manager) : 01 post
Qualification : Three years Graduate degree in Computer Application with 5 years experience (or) Any three years Graduate degree with diploma in Computer Application from a Govt. recognized University / Institute with 3 years experience in a Govt. recognized Institute / Organization.
Age limit : Not exceeding 30 years. Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per GOI rules
Salary : Consolidated salary of Rs.25,313/- per month.
Technician – B (Data Entry Operator) : 04 Posts
Qualification : a) Matric/S.S.L.C with Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology as science subjects or equivalent from a recognized board with one year Diploma in Computer Application/Data Entry and one year experience in a Govt recognized organization/Institute
b) Eight years experience in a recognized organization/institutions
Age limit : Below 28 years. Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per GOI rules.
Salary : Consolidated salary of Rs.13,284/- per month.
Walk-In- Interviews will be held on 31.12.2010 (Friday) at 9.30 A.M to 1.00 P.M at National Institute of Epidemiology (ICMR), Chennai. Candidates will not be entertained after 1.00 P.M.
