The National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST), Thiruvananthapuram, a premier Institute of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), is lookout for young researchers with fresh ideas, innovative viewpoints and willingness to work hard The appointed candidates are expected to be capable of conducting independent research and play lead role in the relevant CSIR programmes in terms of infrastructure creation and knowledge generation.

Age Limit: 35 years.

The duly filled-in application, completed in all respects accompanied by attested copies of certificates, testimonials in support of age, caste, educational qualifications, experience etc mentioned in the application together with an application fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred only) (candidates belonging to SC/ST/Persons with disabilities(PWD)/Women candidates and regular employees of CSIR are exempted from payment of application fee) in the form of crossed Demand Draft valid for a period of at least 5 months from the last date of receipt of applications, drawn in favour of The Director, NIIST and payable at State Bank of Travancore, Industrial Estate Branch, Thiruvananthapuram may be sent in a envelope duly superscribed “ Application for the post of ………………………………………………..”.
