National Institute of Science, Technology and Development Studies (NISTADS), New Delhi, is a premier research Institute under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR).

The Institute is looking for talented and qualified professionals having brilliant academic records and invites applications in the prescribed form from Indian Nationals within and outside the country for the following posts. All the posts are regular/permanent in nature.

Scientist Group IV (2) : 12 Posts
Qualification : M. Tech./ME or recognized equivalent qualification OR Ph. D. in the related area OR Ph. D. (Engg.)
Age : 35 years
Pay Scale : Pay Band-3, Rs. 15,600- 39,100 with Grade Pay Rs. 6,600.

Scientist Group IV (3) : 04 Posts
Qualification : M. Tech./ME or recognized equivalent qualification OR Ph. D. in the related area OR Ph. D. (Engg.)
Age :40 years
Pay Scale : Pay Band-3, Rs. 15,600- 39,100 with Grade Pay Rs. 7,600.

Scientist Group IV (4) : 04 Posts
Qualification : M. Tech./ME or recognized equivalent qualification OR Ph. D. in the related area OR Ph. D. (Engg.)
Age : 45 years
Pay Scale : Pay Band-4, Rs. 37,400- 67,000 with Grade Pay Rs. 8,700

Scientist Group IV (5) : 02 Posts
Qualification : M. Tech./ME or recognized equivalent qualification OR Ph. D. in the related area OR Ph. D. (Engg.)
Age : 50 years
Pay Scale : Pay Band-4, Rs. 37,400- 67,000 with Grade Pay Rs. 8,900

Application Fee :
Application fee in the form of Demand Draft for Rs.100/- (no application fee for SC/ST candidates and regular employees of CSIR)(Non-Refundable) drawn in favour of “Director, NISTADS” payable at New Delhi.

How To Apply :
Apply Online from 04/09/2010 to 11/10/2010 at NISTADS website only. Hardcopy of the application with the recent passport size photograph accompanied by attested copies of the certificates/testimonials together with application fee should be sent to the Director, National Institute of Science Technology and Development Studies, Dr. K. S. Krishnan Marg, New Delhi-110012 on or before 25/10/2010 with an envelope containing the application should be superscribed “Application for the post of…………Post code…….……… Area ………………”.
