THE WEST BENGAL NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF JURIDICAL SCIENCES
National University of Juridical Sciences of West Bengal invites applications on the prescribed form for the following posts :
Registrar : 01 Post
Qualification : (1) A Master’s Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent with uniformly good academic record.(2) Fifteen years of experience in high level administration in an University /Research Institution or Government or Quasi Government or any reputed Organisation or Civil/Military service .
Pay Scale : 37000-67000, Grade Pay Rs.10000/-
Professor(Law) : 01 Post
Qualification :An eminent scholar with published work of high quality actively engaged in research with ten years of experience in post graduate teaching at the University/National level institutions, including experience of guiding research at doctoral Level. Outstanding teachers with 15 years of UG teaching/Research Experience may also be considered or an outstanding scholar with established reputation who has made significant contribution to knowledge.
Pay Scale :37000-67000, Grade Pay Rs.10000/-
Associate Professor(Law) : 02 Posts
Qualification :i. Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the
concerned/allied/relevant disciplines. ii. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).iii. A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
Pay Scale :37000-67000, Grade Pay Rs.9000/-
Assistant Professor(Law) : 06 Posts
Qualification :(1) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or, an equivalent grade of B in 7 point scale at the Master’s degree level, in the relevant subject from an Indian University or, an equivalent degree from a foreign university. (2) Candidates should also have cleared the NET for lecturers conducted by the UGC, or similar test accredited by the UGC.
Pay Scale : 15600-39100, Grade Pay Rs.6000/-
