RECRUITMENT AGAINST GROUP 'D' POSTS
Employment Notice No.2/2010
1. It is proposed to fill up about 2,630 vacancies on South Western Railway and Rail Wheel Factory/Yelahanka from open market in Pay Band-1 of Rs 5,200-20,200 having Grade Pay of Rs.1, 800 (erstwhile Group ‘D’ posts).These vacancies are inclusive of vacancies against Physically Handicapped (PH) quota
Qualification : The minimum educational qualification will be 10th pass or ITI or equivalent.
Maximum Age Limit:
For UR candidates : 33 years
For OBC candidates : 36 years
For SC/ST candidates : 38 years
Method of Selection : The selection will consist of Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Those found fit in the PET will have to appear in a WRITTEN EXAMINATION.
Note : The detailed notification containing no.of vacancies, categories etc. and application form will be notified on 22.12.10 in local newspapers (over Karnataka) and in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar on 08.01.2011. Details will also be available on SWR’s website www.swr.indianrailways.gov.in on 22.12.10. Applications will be received only after 22.12.10.
