Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for the following positions by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited :
Engineering Assistant (Mechanical) : Posts 02
Qualification : 3 yrs Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from a recognized Institute with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC/PWD candidates and pass class for SC/ST candidates.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5400 – 10850
Age: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 32 years as on 01/8/2010
Engineering Assistant (Electrical) : Posts 01
Qualification : 3 yrs Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Institute with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC/PWD candidates and pass class for SC/ST candidates
Pay Scale: Rs. 5400 – 10850
Age: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 32 years as on 01/8/2010
Engineering Assistant (T&I) : Posts 02
Qualification : 3 yrs Diploma in Electronics & Communication or Electronics & Telecommunication or Electronics & Radio Communication or Instrumentation & Control or Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering from recognized Institute with minimum 55% marks for General/ OBC/PWD candidates and pass class for SC/ST candidates
Pay Scale: Rs. 5400 – 10850
Age: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 32 years as on 01/8/2010
Technical Attendant - I : Posts 02
Qualification : Matric / Class Xth Pass with ITI (preferably in Mechanical/Electrical/Draughtsman(Civil)/Electronics/ Instrumentation discipline) minimum one year course from a Govt. recognized Institute.
Pay Scale: Rs. 4600 – 8400
Age: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 32 years as on 01/8/2010
Selection Methodology:
The selection methodology will comprise of written test / Trade test and Personal Interview of short listed candidates. The external candidates will have to pass through each stage for being adjudged as suitable for election.

The application should be accompanied with a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One hundred only) as application fee (non-refundable) in favour of INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LTD. – PIPELINES DIVISION payable at Chennai.
