Essential Skills:

2. Hands on programming in Unix/Linux Systems Area (threads, memory management, synchronization, files, IPC, File Systems, Memory Management, Process Management
3. Hands on experience of using tools such as debugger, code analyzer, CM
4. Good analytical, troubleshooting and Debugging skills.
5. Flexibility to work on any OS
6. Good knowledge on software engineering process
Desirable Skills:
1. Assembly programming
2. Hands on experience in working on design of debuggers like gdb, kdb, SoftIce.
