Job Description
Position Summary
1. Lead the delivery of an infrastructure/construction project or a portfolio of projects so as to achieve favorable outcomes in respect of outputs, time, cost, specification and operational standards.
2. Contribute specialist technical input and project management support throughout the development phase of projects.
Key Result Areas
1. Develop, implement and monitor appropriate management practices / processes in respect of the design, construction and delivery of assigned projects
2. Procure relevant resources, processes and procedures to produce high quality deliverables
3. Ensure that major infrastructure projects deliver planned performance and outputs to time, quality specifications by monitoring the activities of the project team
4. Highlight risks and taking remedial actions as required
Typical Responsibilities
Business / Customer
1. Participate and contribute to project reviews and status updates with the customer
2. Create necessary case studies of the project which include business, process and technology aspects as well as learning etc which can be used by relevant business development teams
3. Elicit, synthesize, and validate content from subject matter experts and other sources
4. Determine prerequisites given the type of subject matter, the needs of the clients and the organization
Project / Process
1. Ensure adherence to quality planning, processes and procedures
2. Drive Project Execution:
3. Analyze requirements, own /support the design, development and implementation
4. Own testing to ensure business and functionality requirements are met
5. Guide associates to create deployment plans and coordinate moving the deliverables to production
6. Ensure Project Controls:
7. Contribute and participate in project reviews, quality reviews and audits, and prepare status reports and management reviews
8. Manage the learning analysis, design, development, and/or pilot-testing of learning interventions.
9. Responsible for deployment and/or evaluation of learning, web development and design
10. Contribute towards large, complex, and/or innovative design and development projects
11. Manages external design and development resources.
12. Works to ensure a collaborative, productive, team environment with others in the Content & design Organizations and client organizations.
Support knowledge management & enablers: Create Knowledge assets (e.g. induction plan, technology, business artifacts etc)
Contribute towards project and resource planning and managing them to successful completion on time and on budget
People / Team
1. Provide work direction and guidance to team members: ensure accuracy of the work of team members, their ability to operate under deadlines and to work on multiple tasks
2. Conduct performance appraisals for team members along with the Project Manager – provide input into the learning and career plans for team members
3. Identify training needs of team members and provide coaching support to them
4. Conduct training and induction of own team members
5. Support recruitment efforts for campus and off campus hires
6. Responsible for team development and motivation – plan team activities and events
7. Conduct Knowledge transfer sessions for new joiners in the project team
8. Facilitate knowledge sharing and capture within and across teams

PG - Any PG Course - Any Specialization,Post Graduation Not Required
Desired Profile
Qualification:
1. Education: 2 yrs PG / 4years UG in MDes/BDes. Masters in Design, Diploma from NID or Human Factors Degree\Certification from reputed overseas Universities\ Institutions. Any graduations stream of Computer Science and Software engineering
2. Minimum Work Experience Required: 8-10 years: M.F.A/B.F.A (with at least 6 years of demonstrable experience in the relevant field)
