Job Description

Position: Software Engineer

Skills: C++, ATL/COM, ActiveX, SQL Server 2005/2008.

Experience: 3 to 4 years

Location: Bangalore

UG – B.Tech/B.E. – Any Specialization
PG – M.Tech – Any Specialization,MCA – Computers

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Job Skills

Good knowledge of software development life cycle, development process flow and their tools usage

Hands on experience with system programming, development of service/driver type of applications in C++, ATL/COM, ActiveX

Hands on experience with SQL Server 2005/2008

Experience with driver development using OPC (OLE for Process Control).

Adequate theoretical knowledge and hands on experience with Multi-Threaded development covering thread synchronization, locks, database concurrency

Experience with Client-Server development and Communication.

Adequate knowledge and understanding of Object Orientated programming (OOPS), and Operating System (OS) concepts

Fair knowledge on Operating System Internals. Windows is preferable

Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, problem solving, and an ability to learn quickly

Good communication skill to articulate views/thoughts with team and partners or customers without any gap

Willingness and Ability to learn new technologies

Domain Knowledge in Electronic Security such as Access Control, Video Surveillance and Intrusion detection is a plus

Awareness of Agile, Incremental or spiral development methodology is an added advantage

Be able to acknowledge and support Project planning and Estimation techniques

Education & Experience:

BE/B Tech/MCA/M.Tech Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering (with focus on Computer Science) or equivalent with minimum of 60% marks or more

3 to 4 years of software support and development work experience

MCTS certification and Process certification (Green Belt) would be a plus
