From November, 1999 the University started Telecast of Video lessons through Doordarshan Regional Channel. On Sundays the University has Interactive Teleconferencing on the Regional Channel of Doordarshan.

Ambedkar Open University second Spell Examinations of Post Graduate Programmes i.e., M.A. I and II year( Economics, History, Political science, Public Administration, Sociology, English, Telugu, Hindi ); M.Com.; M.Sc.( Maths/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ Environmental Science), I year and M.B.A I, II and III year of Dr.B.R. Ambedkar Open University are scheduled from 16-04-2010 to 06-05-2010. for the students who have been admitted during the year 2008. The students of 2006 & 2007 batch who have backlog papers may also appear for these examinations.
